Doesn't "the King and I" and "The Sound of Music" have a lot of things in common (appart from the fact that I think the music was made by the same people)?
- musical turned movie
- exotic country (Austria/Siam)
- stern man with a lot of charming children
- governess is hired to take care of children
- children love governess (ilustated through corny song)
- governess is the only one who dares speak her mind to their father
- governess defending young love
- other country trying to invade exotic country
- governess and employer joining forces against the invasion
- governess and employer share important dance scene
btw: check out http://www.hvaforenfisk.dk/Menu/WWF to see which fishtypes are the best ones to eat.
And go to http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u1kqqMXWEFs if you want to see a modified trailer for "the ten commandments". It's totally awesome (in my brothers words). I'm back at being a Yul Brynner fan!
