Bonanza/Ponderosa

Since I became aware of the fact that swedish television broadcasts Bonanza saturday mornings I have tried not to miss it.

For those of you who do not know this show: It is a mixture of drama, humour and problem-solving. In the wild west. Our heroes are the Cartwright family: The patriarc Ben Cartwright, and his sons Hoss, Adam and...little Joe (see pictures above). My personal favorit is Adam (ham i sort, mor) .

The episodes are very uneven, sometimes they are action packed and sometimes they most of all resemble the Berman movie Smultronstället. The only common denominator is that when (not if but when) little Joe hooks up with a girl she always turs out to emancipate herself (or die) thus leaving him broken hearted.
